UGC NET 2021 will be held in the month of June 2021 and in December 2021 through online CBT mode. UGC NET is a national level entrance test which will be organized by NTA. Through UGC NET exam, the eligibility will be determined for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) & Assistant Professor and for Assistant Professor only. Candidates who will successfully qualify the test will be considered for recruitment as Assistant Professor or JRF in Indian Universities and Colleges.     Major highlights of UGC NET 2021

    • Applicants will be able to apply online for the test from the official website of NTA.
    • Candidates must ensure their eligibility to appear in the test before submitting the application form.
    • The candidates must keep the following documents ready before applying- scanned photograph & signature, Aadhaar card and a valid debit card or credit card for submission of application fee.
    • Use of Aadhaar is mandatory to fill the application. Candidates not in possession of Aadhaar must enroll for the same.
    • Submission of form without scanned document and fee payment will be incomplete.
    • Candidates must clearly mention in their form whether they are applying for ‘only Assistant Professor’ or ‘for both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor’.
    • Those who face difficulty in filling the online application can approach the Common Services Centre.

    The candidates who are interested & are eligible can apply Online through a link available at CSIR, HRDG website: www.csirhrdg.res.in. After they have successfully submitted the application online, candidates should take out printouts of the Application Form, paste in a recent black & white photograph, put in the signature, attach the caste certificate if they belong to the minority group, & send along with CSIR marked copy of fee deposited Bank Challan in an envelope that is super scribed with Subject Code, Centre Code & Medium Code to the following address: The Deputy Secretary ( Exam), Human Resource Development Group, Examination Unit, CSIR Complex, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi-110012.
